One Tree Hill 7: The Season of Nakedness

Without Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton), One Tree Hill will never be the same. While that's already a given, there are still some things to look forward to when the revamped series returns on September 14 on The CW. After all, the show is bringing in several pretty faces onboard, including Robert Buckley, Shantel VanSanten, and Jana Kramer, while keeping some of the pillars such as Sophia Bush, James Lafferty, and Bethany Joy Galeotti. And the best thing about the new season: a lot of nakedness!

OK so maybe I went a little overboard on the nudity. After all, One Tree Hill doesn't air on Showtime and it's not likely for the CW series to bare it all. Still, there will be several hunks running around shirtless, flaunting their six pack abs (if any) and it will all be very sexy.

"I've heard there may be some shirtless jogging between myself and James," Robert Buckley, who plays Clayton, Nathan's agent and friend, told Eonline.com.

"You see him [as] a good friend of Nathan's," Buckley said of his character. "But at the same time, that's his client, so it's that balance of 'Yeah we're pals, but I'm also responsible for making sure you have food on the table for your wife and kids,' It's a fun conflict of interest between the two, but we're going to make sure the fans like this guy."

There's another catch, unfortunately. The season of nakedness starts with Mouth (Lee Norris) and Millie (Lisa Goldstein), a pairing I'm not really looking forward to see unclothed.

"We've got all these beefcakes walking around, and I'm the guy they want to get naked?" Norris said, adding that while Mouth "hasn't changed dramatically since season six...There will be shirts and other things taken off this season. [It's] the season of nakedness on One Tree Hill, so look out!"

Will you still watch One Tree Hill without Lucas and Peyton? And are you really looking forward to Mouth's nude scenes?

I will be watching. I don't really think losing Lucas and Peyton is that big of a loss. Since the fast forward 2 seasons ago I haven't really been thrilled with any of their storylines. As far as I am concerned, as long as Brooke is there I'm sold. For me she has always been the hilarity and drama of OTH that has kept me watching so long!

As far as I know, most people are happy to see Lucas and Peyton go. But the fact that you have to have shirtless people to boost ratings is kinda sad. CW, if you're listening, We Love OTH to death, but isn't it time to end on a high note?
