Nikki Kaapke Talks About What She Would Have Done Differently

Nikki Kaapke has always felt a special connection with single dad Jason Mesnick. Unfortunately, her failure to open up and inability to exude confidence has led to her downfall on The Bachelor 13. As one of the recently eliminated contestants on the reality dating series, the 29-year-old administrative assistant from Blue Island, IL looks back at her time with the bachelor and opens up on what she regrets as well as what she would have done differently.

Like other hopefuls on The Bachelor, Nikki tried her best to win Jason's heart from the moment she laid eyes on him. Things were going great for her until she learned that she would be going on a two-on-one date with Stephanie, a 34-year-old medical marketing representative and single mom from Huntsville, AL. Since then, her confidence caved and her insecurities kicked in.

It wasn't until our actual dinner with the three of us that we had our conversation that I feel insecure, because Stephanie was really talking up her southern charm, and she's a wonderful lady. But [she was] more and more Stephanie [tried to] outshine me, and that was my fault, I should've stepped up my personality as well, and when Jason and I had our conversation privately during our date there was no inclination that I would be going home. So I was up in the air thinking that there was a possibility of going home, but because of the genuine romantic connection that we had, I didn't foresee it coming, Nikki told RealityTV World.

While Nikki's lack of confidence ultimately led to her downfall, it also didn't help that she did not tell Jason about her prior relationships until their last date together. On the other hand, Nikki reasoned that she never had a chance to bring it up since her one-on-one time with Jason was very limited.

someone pls explain 2 d lady that the real reason she was sent home was becos of the desperate and freaky and controlling vibe that she gives off. yes she is beautiful and would keep the home spink and spank but she almost robot like totally boring especially in this day and age, i think she would be one of those insanely jealous women and would need CONSTANT attention and i love you's. that's what Jason picked up on and that's not him or majority of the men these days. marrying her would be the proverbial ball and chain.
