After a one-week break, House returns tonight with "Remorse." On the episode, the team takes on the case of Valerie (guest star Beau Garrett), an attractive female executive experiencing random episodes of excruciating pain. House (Hugh Laurie) being House, he takes on the case based purely on the fact that Valerie looks hot.
The rest of the men on the team - meaning Foreman (Omar Epps), Taub (Peter Jacobson), and maybe even Chase (Jesse Spencer) - are all charmed by their patient's beauty and personality, and it's up to Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) to look beyond the superficial to try to discover a link to her illness.
Also, House uncharacteristically attempts to alleviate his conscience by reaching out to a former medical school colleague he wronged, because his shrink says so. Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) has another suggestion though: instead of looking for this person, why not apologize to other people he has hurt, those that are closer to home, maybe he and Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein)?
