'Supernatural' Early Review: Parodies Make for Great TV

I was hard on "The Curious Case of Dean Winchester," the latest new episode of Supernatural, because I felt the story and, in particular, the villains didn't work. An episode needs a strong antagonist, someone viewers can connect with, which is why I was ecstatic that Warner Brothers sent critics an advanced copy of next week's brand new Supernatural episode, "Changing Channels."

Like any good fan, I watched it as soon as possible, and while you won't find any major spoilers in this review, I can tell you that it is, hands down, the best episode of the season. Of course, I'm a little biased.

I don't think you were off on last week's episode. It was not the greatest. I cannot wait for this week's. Thanks for the preview

I loved this episode. The trickster is among my fav chars so it was great to see him back and the TV parodies were amazing. Sam telling the nurse "I have no idea what your saying to me." was brilliant though I think the best part was definalty the CSI: Miami parodie, as that is pretty much how the show looks to me.
