On this week's episode of The Bachelor, Jake and the ladies take a road trip and more than a few women get left behind.
The first stop on the trip is to a vineyard in Santa Ynez, a fun and romantic spot for his one-on-one date with Gia. Vienna's mean side rears her ugly head as she predicts Gia's big city personality won't be able to tough it out in the vineyard. Vienna is more than wrong, as Gia and Jake click right from the start. After a very cheesy game of hide-and-seek, they play a slightly less cheesy game of spin-the-bottle and share a romantic night in front of the campfire. Gia and Jake hadn't spent a lot of time alone up to this time, but there seems to be lots of chemistry and Jake is more than happy to give her a rose at the end of the night.
Next stop on the Bachelor tour is Pismo Beach for a group date of dune-buggy riding and sand surfing. Jake says he's hoping to see which of the girls will react best to the outdoor environment and let their hair down. Ali takes the initiative and gets the shot gun seat behind Jake on the dune-buggy but it's Tenley that steals the show during sand surfing. Jake says he gravitates towards her and they have a jolly old time rolling around in the sand. Later, Jake and the six girls share a picnic in the sand and Corrie steps up her game and rolls down a dune or two with Jake. Later that evening, the mood shifts to a romantic dinner at a local inn. Not surprisingly, Tenley gets the rose from Jake after they share some romantic one-on-one time together and its Ashleigh and Ali that may be falling fast. Jake says he doesn't feel his relationship with Ashleigh progressing and Ali comes off all too focused on her arch-nemesis and what Jake is thinking going into the rose ceremony.
