It couldn't have been too difficult of a decision for CBS executives to green light another season of 'Big Brother.' After all, although the show is currently wrapping up its 12th season, it has actually gained viewers in its tenth year of existence.
Vulture is reporting that CBS has officially renewed 'Big Brother' for a 13th season. It's a logical decision, considering 'Big Brother' has become as synonymous with the summertime as ice cream and hot dogs.
"'Big Brother' is our summer hero," CBS reality head Jennifer Bresnan told Vulture. Amidst a sea of repeats, it's kind of our summer hero too.
The show's 12th season finale airs tonight. Housemates Enzo, Hayden and Lane are all up for the grand prize.
