Let's meet two completely incompatible families on 'Wife Swap' (Fri., 8PM ET on ABC). The Warren family lives in upstate New York, where they run an organic goat farm. Because of their isolated location, 11-year-old son Shane Warren is miles away from his closest human friends. So Shane has become best friends with a lamb that lives on the farm -- a lamb named Lubert. Unfortunately, the family will soon be slaughtering Lubert, in order to sell him for meat.
Meanwhile, in Oklahoma, the Funderburgh family is run by "diva" mom Angie, who tells her kids that the most important thing is to be popular and good-looking. Angie runs a "cool school" for her children where she teaches them how to walk, dance, and act hip. She also bosses around her stay-at-home husband Tim, boasting about the fact that she lets her kids walk all over him.
In the course of the episode, husbands Tim Funderburgh and Tom Warren swap wives. Both men end up getting pretty emotional during the show. Tim cries when his new "wife" Denise Warren tries to get him to stand up for himself. And Tom becomes enraged when Angie Funderburgh tries to save the life of Lubert the lamb.
What will be the outcome of all of this? Will Tim learn to be more assertive? And more importantly, will an adorable lamb avoid the butcher's block?
