''Get in the mind of the file. Live the life of the file. Hear the pulse of the file!" - Mozz, aging an FBI file quickly
Remember in last week's episode, when Neal and Peter decided that they weren't going to lie to each other anymore? Instead, they were going to join forces and investigate the secrets of the music box?
Yeah, well, forget all that. This week Neal decides to lie to Peter to find out who killed Kate. I thought we had left all of this "keeping secrets" stuff behind us, but I guess not. We're still not sure why Neal keeps lying to Peter, since Peter has proved helpful every single week. If this keeps up, Neal is going to become "The Boy Who Cried 'Trust'."
OK, let's get this out of the way right now: There's no way Mozz is dead.
That was a pretty bad shot, right in the upper chest below the throat, but there's no way this show is going to kill off one of the most appealing characters. So I'm not even going to worry about that little plot point until January, when the show returns for the second half of the season. And you shouldn't worry about it either. It's a nice little cliffhanger to leave the summer with (everyone loves Mozz! It's so unexpected! Don't shoot Mozz!), and I'm sure fans will be antsy about the whole thing, but it's just not going to happen.
