'Undercovers': Introducing Mekia Cox, the 'boy crazy' Lizzy Gilliam

We're not being very covert about our excitement about NBC's "Undercovers." We've named the spy drama one of our top to watch for fall. While we'll be rolling out most of our video interviews in the week leading up to the show's premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 22, we did think you'd want to meet the newest addition to the cast, Mekia Cox, right away.

She plays Samantha Bloom's (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) sister, Lizzy Gilliam. She replaced Jessica Parker Kennedy, who played the part in the pilot. Cox says the transition wasn't too bad.

"I came in and everyone was so super nice," she tells Zap2it. "Immediately, it felt like family. [Parker Kennedy] was a great girl, as well. They loved her too, but they still welcomed me with open arms, which I was very thankful for."
