MERLIN ''The Tears of Uther Pendragon: Part 1'' Review

MERLIN is back! Season three kicked off with “The Tears of Uther Pendragon: Part 1″ and after many years of living in the fictional universes provided by books, movies and television if there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that the only thing better than a badass heroine, is a heroine turned badass villain. After two seasons of almosts and waiting, Morgana has finally fulfilled the mythology and turned to the Dark Side. Can I get a whoop whoop?

After vanishing for over a year, Arthur and Merlin find Morgana after a skirmish with a group of ragtag bandits. Dirty and dazed, Camelot greets her with open arms-except Merlin, who is a tad worried that she may still remember the whole trying to poison her scenario (oops). She does, but she forgives him.

Oh Merlin, how foolish thou art.

Using a potion of mandrakes and Uther’s tears, concocted in something that looked suspiciously like Betty Crocker’s brownie mix, Morgana and her sister Morgeuse plant the rotten mandrake under Uther’s bed, the plan being that he will eventually turn mad.
