The Bachelor: Kudos to the Girl Who Stood Up for Herself

The Bachelor season 14 is about to start in a month but sadly, there hasn't been any juicy scoop about Jake Pavelka or any of the girls vying for his attention this season. However, I did stumble on some info that sheds light on just how ridiculous the whole concept of reality TV dating is, thanks to Reality Steve.

Basically, Reality Steve found info on a girl who was cast this season with Jake Pavelka. The unnamed girl was flown out to Los Angeles to be one of the 25 women competing on The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love and was told to memorize these lines: "When I first saw Jake, I fell in love. I can't wait to fly away with him someday." But unlike most girls who are cast on The Bachelor, this particular girl stood up for herself by saying no, considering she hasn't even met the guy yet, and just walked out and left the show.

Reality Steve claimed that the said girl will never be on the show since she left just before the show started filming. "Wasn't the first time it happened, and it certainly won't be the last. But just know it happened this season," wrote the infamous reality TV blogger.

Normally, I'm a skeptic when it comes to unfounded rumors but Reality Steve has brought us some pretty juicy stuff over the years, including the rumored ending of The Bachelor 13 starring Jason Mesnick, Melissa Rycroft and Molly Malaney, as well revelations about Wes Hayden and Ed Swiderski, just to name a few. It also doesn't sound farfetched knowing that most of the things that happened on the show aren't real. So I'd have to agree with Reality Steve when he said, "Kinda funny that now they are actually telling people exact lines to say instead of just putting them together and saying, 'Here, talk about this.' Look, we've always known the show wasn't real and I think a lot of people have come to accept that. But my problem has always been that they constantly are trying to tell us it is."

Unfortunately, knowing this little info won't stop me from watching and enjoying the new season of The Bachelor, which kicks off on January 4 on ABC.
