The Vampire Diaries: Episode 8 "162 Candles" - Sneak Peeks

Now that the minx of Mystic Falls is gone, it's time to deal with the aftermath of Damon's little mess in the eighth episode of The Vampire Diaries entitled "162 Candles." Although Damon has erased Jeremy's memories and planted new ones so he won't remember that Vicki turned into a vampire, tried to attack him and Elena and then was killed by Stefan with a wooden stake, Vicki's brother Matt knows that something's seriously wrong with his sister so he's not going to just accept that she left town and won't be back.

The main focus of tonight's episode, however, is Stefan's birthday. And because it's his special day, he gets a surprise visit from his old friend Lexi (guest star Arielle Kebbel), whose arrival makes Elena all jealous. It also doesn't help that Lexi gets to spend a lot of time with Stefan now that Elena has decided to stay away from him because she's still upset by the events that happened at the Halloween haunted house in last week's episode.

However, we all know that Elena (Nina Dobrev) can't stay away from Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Stefan can't stay away from Elena. And after Lexi gives Elena some unsolicited relationship advice, it's only a matter of time before Elena and Stefan return to each other's arms.

Check out videos from tonight's episode of The Vampire Diaries.

Meanwhile, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) reunites with Caroline (Candice Accola) in attempt to get his medallion back from Bonnie (Katerina Graham). He also offers to help Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) but this only results to a tragic ending. At least, we get some sort of normalcy when it comes to Jeremy whose behavior has drastically changed--- which doesn't go unnoticed by Elena and Aunt Jenna.
