I don't know about you, but I've had a long couple of weeks without my fix of The Office and I was pleased to find that it didn't disappoint (well not too much anyway). The name alone told us that it had to be pretty decent, right?
However, I am curious as to why tonight's show didn't run earlier, given that it had a Valentine's Day theme? And where the heck is Holly? She's becoming that character that people always talk about but we never actually see. If they aren't careful her character is going to join the ranks of Stanley Walker, Maris Crane and Dr. Claw.
I love, love, loveeed Pam and Jim's Fonz defense to the telecom sales rep. I'm going to try that next time I'm some place and I find myself in a sticky situation. Either that or I am simply going to say raise your hand if you ever bowled a 280. Boom. Roasted. I also loved that tonight took a deeper dive into two characters that are awesome and we don't see enough of: Kevin and Bob Vance (from Vance refrigeration). And what do we learn? Well for one, Kevin has more layers to him than I originally thought (I'm not saying he has a lot of layers, but layers nonetheless). I was actually touched that he seemed to meet a nice girl and get her e-mail address. Bob is still pretty one dimensional but he rocks anyway. Phyllis and Bob, as a couple, although a little unconventional and creepy, are truly kinda cute and perfect for each other.
Dwight had my favorite quote of the night (big surprise) when he said, I trained my major blood vessels to retract on command. LOL! Normally Michael sort of annoys me, which I guess is sort of the goal of his character, but tonight I really liked him. His analogy about love and princes was sort of sweet. I wonder if we'll see the mysterious glove girl again?
