Team TLC is in a rush to put Jon Gosselin in his place, and it's no surprise why. The network which was famous for the series Jon and Kate Plus 8 have decided to move the court dates to an earlier day, from the original December 14 to December 10.
Radar Online reports that the two parties held a status conference on Tuesday morning in Montgomery County, Maryland to discuss matters. Sources say that the judge announced to move the hearing for a preliminary junction, and the trial dates were changed as well.
Jon Gosselin now has to face the court on April 19, 2010, instead of the former 2011 decision. It will still be held in the same venue, as TLC pursues its suit of the father of eight for breach of contract.
We've been following the TLC vs. Jon Gosselin saga for quite a while now, and it's obvious that most audiences are siding with the network. The reality TV dad has been trying to countersue TLC for $5 million, but it seems like a futile effort.
It's also interesting to note that the move of the court dates sort of coincides with Kate Gosselin's appearance on Barbara Walters' Most Fascinating People of 2009, which will air on December 9. According to the Examiner, the mother of eight might be debuting her new hairdo in public then.
While Jon and his legal party do their best to deal with an impending court appearance, Kate's been keeping up appearances as well. She was spotted taking her daughter Mady out for errands, then both of them even stopped by a nail salon to relax a bit. Unfortunately, Kate couldn't manage to give her daughter full attention since she was on the phone texting most of the time.
Still, it isn't as bad as whatever offense Jon has committed against the network. We'll discover the results of the hearing after those dates - December 10 and April 19, and see just what TLC has in store for the guy.
