'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' might avoid Rio after hostage crisis

If "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" filming is delayed, you might blame it on Rio.

Rio de Janeiro's idyllic beaches were reportedly destined for some scenes in the final "Twilight" installment, but after the recent hostage crisis, in which heavily armed gang members held 35 people hostage at Rio's Intercontinental Hotel, is making Summit Entertainment reevaluate their plans, reports AFP.

Warning spoilers below. If you haven't seen "Eclipse" yet, then move along and don't read this until you have.

The beachy paradise was likely supposed to be the setting for Edward and Bella's island honeymoon after their wedding on the private island of Isla Esme.

We certainly wouldn't want Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart to get a scare, much less get taken hostage. Perhaps Summit should look closer to home for a seaside locale?
