Last week on Brothers and Sisters, we were left with a huge question looming in the hospital ward. Is Kitty (Calista Flockhart) really dead? She fainted during the wedding, cutting it short, so the speculation ensues. But given the fact that the Walker family pulls through practically any situation, we're not betting on her sudden departure.
Further proof is the fact that Cheryl Hines has been dragged in, and Kristin Dos Santos of E! News has revealed the story arc she'll be involved in. Even though the info below is a bit spoiler-y, you knew it was coming. No, the Curb Your Enthusiasm actress won't be portraying another doctor of Kitty's.
According to sources, Cheryl Hines will be playing Kitty's BFF named Buffy. We can't really help but think of vampires here, but cancer really is a type of vampire, isn't it? So whether or not Buffy will be slaying that disease remains to be seen. Still, she's welcome company in Kitty's eyes.
So there goes Kitty's storyline, with the details still a bit vague. As for the other Walkers, E! News claims they're still pushing through with Rebecca's (Emily VanCamp) pregnancy.
Originally, we all thought Brothers and Sisters will get even more soap-operatic and add in more complications with the baby. Now, however, it looks like things are okay.
"[A] source on set tells Emily VanCamp is still filming with a baby bump, and I don't think Rebecca is pulling a Terri Schuester [Glee], so all appears to be well so far," Dos Santos reports. "We'll see."
She also spilled the beans on Simon (Jon Tenney), who is Nora's (Sally Field) new romance. After he borrowed a huge amount of cash from her, the fans have started wondering if he'll take off with the money and leave her. The answer is: he won't.
Well that's a sigh of relief, and so far that's all we have for Brothers and Sisters until its return.
