Dr. Phil McGraw was on 'Larry King Live' (Weekdays, 9 PM ET on CNN) Monday night, where he discussed Oprah Winfrey, who he called one of his "dearest and most valued friends."
Since 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' is entering its final season after 25 years, Larry King asked Dr. Phil to explain the secret to his former-boss's longevity.
"She is one of kind," McGraw said. "Oprah told me one time, she said 'You know what, I'm like a viewer with a microphone, I ask the questions that everyone wants to know the answer to.'"
Then Dr. Phil told King that Winfrey is an even better person in real life than she appears on television.
Dr. Phil's kind words caused Oprah to magically appear and give Dr. Phil, Larry King and everyone of the set of 'Larry King Live' a free Australian vacation. (OK, that last part didn't really happen.)
