It's Valentine's Day on Supernatural, or as Dean would call it the "Unattached Drifter Christmas," but don't expect Dean to hit the bars and hook up with desperate lonely girls anytime soon. It looks like something is seriously wrong with him and we find out why tonight in the episode fittingly called "My Bloody Valentine."
This should be a good installment considering that Supernatural will go on a five-week hiatus after this. I can only imagine something big going down tonight as we meet two new characters: Cupid and Famine.
Cupid isn't the little flying fat kid in diapers we've come to know fables. He's actually a lower order of angel or a third class cherub, and apparently, there are plenty of others like him all over the world. Cas thinks he's causing the townspeople to kill each other for love so he drags the Winchester boys for a mission to stop him. While Cupid seems dangerous based on Cas' description, his sweet, warm fuzzy persona tells you otherwise. The best thing about him, though, is his "handshake."
While Cas, Dean and Sam are barking up the wrong tree, Famine, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, wreaks havoc in town which explains why people are drinking and eating themselves to death.
