Ratings: 'FlashForward' struggles, 'Vampire Diaries' returns

From THR:

CBS won Thursday night with NCAA basketball semifinals with ABC's FlashForward continuing to struggle and the return of CW's Vampire Diaries held steady.

College basketball (11.4 million viewers, 3.8 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) ruled the night and grew from last week in these early numbers. ABC placed second despite "FlashForward" (6.2 million, 1.9) and Grey's Anatomy (11.4 million, 3.6) hitting their lowest ratings ever. Private Practice (8.9 million, 2.9) was up slightly.

NBC's comedy block dropped in the numbers. "Community" (5.1 million, 2.0), "Parks & Recreation" (4.5 million, 1.9), The Office (7.2 million, 2.9) and 30 Rock (6.3 million, 2.9) were all flat or down slightly, with "Office" hitting a season low. "Marriage Ref" (6.5 million, 2.5) fell 14%.

Fox ran repeats. CW's Vampire Diaries (3.2 million, 1.5) and Supernatural (2.9 million, 1.2) returned, with "Diaries" matching its last episode and "Supernatural" climbing.
