Degrassi: Next Class

A high school drama, so you can't expect much. Stopped watching when one of the characters got an abortion like it was nothing and then went out and celebrated with her friends. What the heck.

Classic. The characters really grow on you and the dynamic between them is fantastic. It was never the same after John Ritter's passing, though.

This show had everything for me to like it: fantasy, magic, classic literature, a group of heroes and some light action. Yet, it fell flat and I couldn't get past the first few episodes.

Brilliant show from beginning to end and jt gets better as seasons go by. I finished season 4 started watching again from the begining of the series, which I've very rarely done. The story is amazing as it is scary, set and costume design are absolutely brilliant. The first season was a bit slow-paced, in my opinion it had to do with the actors who played Juliana and Frank, they are terrible and get a lot of screentime. However, as episodes go by, the focus turns more towards other characters. Joel de la Fuente did a fantastic job, especially in the last season, and Rufus Sewell's acting deserves a special mention, it was outstanding; I don't believe I've ever gone on such an emotional rollercoaster for a character before. Just worth watching solely because of his acting, but you get the bonus that everything is really well thought out.

Titans is my favorite after Batman, so I had high hopes for this one. Even though it's an adaptation with some liberties, it did not disappoint. I like how dark it is, how we get to know each of the characters and their pasts and the plotnis great and it keeps it intriguing. The acting could use some work, especially some of the cast, but it's not unbearable. I hope beast boy will transform into more animals in future seasons and that they improve Starfire's and Raven's costumes and wigs, because right now they look really cheap.

An interesting one, still not good enough.

First season was fast, paced, intriguing, full of action and mistery with a great plot. Second season was not as spectacular. I absolutely love a good epic fantasy and this one was good but still thought for MTV teenagers, which I'm not. Costume and set design were beautiful, as well as cgi. Acting was okay, but again, what can you expect from MTV.

Nice, lighthearted show. Steven Van Zandt is perfect as the Italian-American gangster. His character is somehow so charming that he has you rooting for the bad guy. The other performances are quite good as well. It's funny and witty, proof that you don't need any nudity or sex scenes to make a show entertaining.

The best part of this show are the sets. The acting is really uneven and plotwise, even though season 1 was intriguing, season 2 falls quite flat.

I wouldn't recommend this. It drags on pointlessly and 10 episodes feel more like 20. Also the sets were surprisingly bad.
