America's Got Talent Chicago/San Antonio Auditions: The One Act to Watch

Good Lord, how many times am I going to have to type out the same cities, just in different combinations? I am just not a fan of the format this season on America's Got Talent , and I personally think it's affecting the quality of the acts, or at least how they're portrayed to us. In seasons past, we've more or less (with occasional exceptions) viewed the performances from each location, as a whole, in one or two complete parts. Therefore, we got to see the best and worst each city had to offer in one or two sittings. That made "the one act to watch" in New York or San Francisco a choice between the upper echelon. But all the jumping around has seriously diluted the talent pool. http://www.buddytv.com/articles/americas-got-talent/americas-got-talent-chicagosan-50508.aspx

'America's Got Talent': Sully Dunn, Branden James and David Fenley vocals wow

The Tuesday night (July 2) episode of "America's Got Talent" saw the judges continue in cities Chicago and San Antonio in search of the next big act in the U.S. Above, Sully Dunn sings an original song that's quirky and fun, while below, opera singer Branden James wows on "Nessum Dorma" and David Fenley shows off a sensitive side on "Too Close." Did you have a favorite? For us, it was Fenley. We just adore the raspy quality to his voice. But James also has a lovely baritone -- we just would like to hear a different opera song, "Nessum Dorma" seems like the only one anybody ever knows. And Sully's original song was pretty funny. Do you think he'll stick with original stuff, or do covers too? All three men went through to Vegas with flying colors. What did you think of their performances?... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/07/americas-got-talent-sully-dunn-branden-james-and-david-fenley-vocals-wow.html
