Comic-Con: Tom Whalen's BATMAN 1960s TV Show Print to Be Released Saturday at the Huckleberry Booth

As we’ve learned in years past, Comic-Con madness isn’t just reserved for panel lines. When the folks at the Mondo booth announce drops for any number of exclusive, limited prints, a feeding frenzy occurs on the convention floor. Yet another cool new art print has just been announced, and it will be dropping at the Huckleberry booth this coming Saturday, July 20th at 9am so plan your path of least resistance accordingly. From artist Tom Whalen, this print highlights the classic Batman TV series in all its colorful glory. "The Dark Knight" Continues to Break Box Office Records

For all those people out there who thought Warner Bros.' opening weekend estimate was more optimistic than realistic, a good ol' fashioned Joker "HA HA HA HA HA!" on you. "The Dark Knight," estimated to bring in $155.4 million during its opening weekend, actually brought in $158.335 million. In addition, "The Dark Knight" made $41.3 million in ticket sales from foreign markets (the film is being shown in 20 territories). Worldwide, the film has grossed $199.655 million. In a related story, the Hollywood Reporter says that despite the fact that "The Dark Knight" is screening on a record-breaking 4,366 theaters, moviegoers are still surfing eBay and Craigslist for tickets. Of course, the most valuable of these are the tickets for IMAX screenings ("The Dark Knight" is playing on 94 IMAX screens). On eBay, these IMAX tickets are going for about $50 each.
