CW Scoop: Supernatural Spin-Off, Beauty's New Beast and Nikita's Farewell

  Just like the youthful demo it is targeting, The CW is still growing. "The parent companies have been very happy with how The CW has performed," network president Mark Pedowitz said at the Television Critics Association's fall previews on Tuesday. Beauty and the Beast Season 2 Panel [Comic Con 2013]

Within the luxurious ballroom 20 at the San Diego Convention Center, the Beasties (ardent fans of Beauty and the Beast) got a chance to hear from the stars and showrunners of the show they love so dearly. Jay Ryan and Kristen Kreuk were on hand to discuss the events of season one and tease a season two. The crowd was excited from the very beginning as Fanhattan writer and the panel’s moderator Jenna Busch introduced a sizzle reel of first season highlights along with a gag reel featuring some humorous bloopers. When the questions started flying, the cast and showrunners were quick to shoutout the fans. They hyped their victory in the People’s Choice Awards as evidence they had the best fans in the world. Once again, The CW's fall premieres will begin in October, with Hart of Dixie and Beaty and the Beast kicking things off on Monday, October 7th. On October 9th, Arrow will return alongside new series The Tomorrow People. On October 10th, we welcome back The Vampire Diaries and another new series, Reign. Then on October 15th it's Supernatural followed by the new Vampire Diaries spinoff, The Originals. And finally on October 25th, The Carrie Diaries is back as well as a fiercer-than-ever Guys vs. Girls cycle of America's Next Top Model. So which CW show are you most looking forward to? Beauty And the Beast Alum Sendhil Ramamurthy to Guest on Unforgettable

The CBS drama Unforgettable has had a pretty memorable history. The series debuted on CBS in September of 2011 as part of the 2011-2012 TV season but by the spring of 2012 the show was in trouble and was summarily canceled by the network. Jump to now and the show – in an almost 11th hour save – was brought back by CBS for another season, which will premiere on July 28. The series focuses on Carrie Wells (series lead Poppy Montgomery), a former NY Police detective, who has a rare medical condition that gives her the ability to visually remember everything. CBS Television Studios Announces Comic-Con 2013 Line-Up, Including New Summer Hit Under the Dome

CBS Television Studios is planning to make quite an impression on Comic-Con 2013 attendees. The studio is bringing the genre-friendly Under the Dome and Beauty and the Beast to the Con, while also hosting special screenings of upcoming fall series Intelligence starring Lost fan favorite Josh Holloway, and the teen-themed alien drama Star-Crossed. Holloway will be on hand for the Intelligence panel alongside his co-stars Meghan Ory (Once Upon a Time) and Marg Helgenberger (CSI), and executive producers Michael Seitzman (North Country), René Echevarria (Terra Nova) and Tripp Vinson. Debra Birnbaum, President and Editor in Chief, TV Guide Magazine will be moderating the panel, which will be followed by a signing with the cast. Meanwhile, CBS will also be hosting a panel for their new summer hit Under the Dome featuring stars Dean Norris (Breaking Bad), Mike Vogel (Bates Motel) and Rachelle Lefevre (Twilight) who will be joined by executive producers Brian K.
