Eli's Attempt to Reconcile With Nucky End Up in a Fistfight on 'Boardwalk Empire' (VIDEO)

Who said anything about brotherly love superceding all. Loyalty is the stock Nucky trades in on 'Boardwalk Empire' (Sun., 9PM ET on HBO), and once you prove you're all out of it, he's got no further use for you. Even if you're a blood relative. When Eli came to his brother, sobbing and apologizing and trying to make things right, Nucky told him in no uncertain terms where he stands now. He then proceeded to prove that even though he usually has other people get their hands dirty on his behalf, he's not above getting into the fray.

Boardwalk Empire: Michael K. Williams on the Struggles of Chalky White

It has not been an easy season so far for Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire . He's narrowly avoided death during an attack on his distillery; spent time in jail; and, as Michael Kenneth Williams put it to me over the phone, the character's "validation as an American has been greatly challenged by the Klan. He's still reminded that he's just a coon in certain people's mind." Still, despite these setbacks, Williams says Chalky's relationship with Nucky has remained strong and will continue to remain strong. "He's always been suspicious of any white man, he's never trusted anyone outside close friends and family," Williams said. "But all the cards have been on the table with Nucky. It's a business relationship and that jail cell conversation [in " Ourselves Alone "] made each realize that they have a lot in common. They need each other." Might that change at any point? Williams wouldn't give anything away, focusing instead on Chalky's family life and the "insecurities" that have arisen for him there. The actor points to the scene where Chalky's daughter scoffed at the concept of her dad helping her brother with his homework and how it led him to "look at himself as just his father's child. That's why he went and whittled that piece of wood." Williams, of course, is pulling double, contrasting duty these days. He's recurring on Community as the study group's new biology professor, a role he never expected to land a few months ago... considering he had never heard of the NBC sitcom until producers reached out to him on Twitter. "I wondered, what the heck is Community? Some kind of cult?!? But I looked up a few clips, saw Chevy Chase and a paintball fight and was like: 'I'm in!'" Boardwalk Empire airs a new episode this Sunday night. View the HBO preview for it NOW !

Harrow Agrees to Let Angela Sketch Him on 'Boardwalk Empire' (VIDEO)

Less than enthused about her latest attempts to paint on 'Boardwalk Empire' (Sun., 9PM ET on HBO), Angela struck upon a bold idea when Richard Harrow arrived to pick up her husband Jimmy. She asked if he would be willing to sit for her, so she can paint him. At first, she painted him with his mask on. But as she worked, he began to open up to her about love and how the war changed him. He talked about how close he and his twin sister Emma were before the war. "When I came back from the war, she nursed me and gave me morphine to keep the pain at bay, but suddenly I felt different toward her," he admitted. "I would stare at her and feel nothing."

Nucky Tells Jimmy and the Commodore He Will Ruin Them on 'Boardwalk Empire' (VIDEO)

Nucky Thompson may not completely be a gangster yet on 'Boardwalk Empire' (Sun., 9PM ET on HBO), but he's certainly close enough to act like one when he's trying to lay some intimidation down on someone. With the Commodore and Jimmy angling against him, a lobster dinner was the last straw. When the Commodore was enjoying his lobster, while Nucky was being told they were out, he lost it and approached the Commodore's table, knocking the lobster on the ground. At the center of it all is Jimmy, the Commodore's biological son, but more a son to Nucky than even blood can make.
