Gus Fires Walt and Threatens His Family, on 'Breaking Bad' (VIDEO)

High school chemistry teacher Walt got into the drugs business in the first place because he wanted to take care of his wife and kids. Last night on 'Breaking Bad' (Sun., 10PM ET on AMC), however, his illegal activities put their lives in danger. Gus has finally had enough of Walt and his brother in law Hank. He drags Walt out into the desert with a bag over his head and fires him. He also says he'll take care of the errant Hank: "You have failed. Now it's left to me to deal with him." When Walt protests, Gus delivers this chilling threat: "If you try to interfere, this becomes a much simpler matter. I will kill your wife. I will kill your son. I will kill your infant daughter." http://www.aoltv.com/2011/09/26/gus-fires-walt-and-threatens-his-family-on-breaking-bad-vide/

'Breaking Bad' preview: Worst small talk ever

It's just another day at the office for Walt (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse (Aaron Paul) on "Breaking Bad." Except for the part where Walt bums a cigarette, and they talk about killing Gus.In the scene from Sunday's (Sept. 11) episode, "Bug," Walt is unsurprisingly getting impatient that Jesse has not yet taken a chance at bumping off Gus (Giancarlo Esposito). But the way he expresses it to Jesse -- shoehorning it in while trying to feign a friendly conversation between colleagues for Gus' cameras -- is a little bit ha-ha funny and more than a little sad-funny. As close as they are, Walt still doesn't really know Jesse that well.Note to both Walt and Jesse: Any shooting-the-breeze conversation that includes the phrase "Don't you have enough cancer already?" and ends with "We're both dead men anyway" isn't really the best kind of small talk."Breaking Bad" airs at 10 p.m. ET Sunday on AMC.
