Four chefs vie for an executive position at the Old Homestead, one of the oldest steakhouses in New York City. The candidates are tasked with creating a custom cut of meat. They are then challenged to come up with new and profitable side dishes. Lastly, the two remaining finalists are handed the keys to the restaurant for one night of dinner service.
