Tonight's TV Hot List: Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 - Featured

* Melrose Place (2009) (9/8c The CW ) It's been 10 years since we last checked in on the residents at 4616 Melrose Place, and evidently the scandal and intrigue never left. Within the first 10 minutes of this anticipated reboot, someone is stabbed in the back - literally - and found floating dead in that infamous courtyard pool. Before long, everyone is a suspect. Reprising their roles from the original are Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro as Sydney Andrews and Dr. Michael Mancini, respectively. New cast members include Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Shaun Sipos. * Get Schooled: You Have the Right (8/7c BET, Comedy Central , CMT, Logo, MTV , Nickelodeon, Spike, TV Land, VH1) The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has teamed up with Viacom to kick off its "Get Schooled" initiative, which is designed to draw attention to the need for reform of America's public-school system. In tonight's special, airing simultaneously across all Viacom channels, three young professionals - a music director for Kelly Clarkson, an assistant account director working with LeBron James and a speechwriter for Barack Obama - share their stories of success. The goal is to show the importance of perseverance in education and the amazing places that it can lead. * 90210 (8/7c The CW ) A lot can happen during those post-summer-school days when everybody hangs at the beach club making new friends (and shunning old ones). The action is surfside as the second season starts, and the 90210 gang is a little older, a little more experienced and a lot more confused. Annie is still trying to fit into this West Coast world while Dixon is just trying to figure things out with Silver. Navid, however, is thinking positively about his future with Adrianna, which, of course, means it's the perfect time for an ex-boyfriend to show up. * Primetime: Family Secrets (10:01/9:01c ABC) ABC is interrupting its regularly scheduled run of Primetime: The Outsiders to present an interview with Jon Gosselin, a new outsider to his own very large family, who might spill a family secret or two tonight (or at least whine about Kate). Another segment assesses the sad case of an 88-year-old woman diagnosed with dementia; the two antiques dealers to whom she bequeathed her crumbling Dallas mansion (she called them "her boys"); and the woman's daughter, who says the men took advantage of her. * Curb Your Enthusiasm : It's Not a Reunion Show But It's the Closest You'll Get (10/9c HBO ) How much fun could there be at a reunion where nothing happens? Well, when it involves the gang from Seinfeld , probably plenty. There's been a lot of buzz about the fab four of Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards getting back together during the seventh season of Curb Your Enthusiasm (which premieres Sept. 20 at 9 pm/ET), and tonight's special shows how it all came about. (FYI: The reunion story is scheduled to begin in Curb's third episode, airing Oct. 4.) * Sons of Anarchy (10/9c FX ) To bring you up to speed, the bungled hit on Opie that Clay ordered has left SAMCRO in no small amount of disarray, and cleaning up the mess will take no small amount of effort, beginning in tonight's second-season opener, when Opie returns to the clubhouse not knowing who tried to kill him. There's a new external threat as well: A white supremacist (Adam Arkin) with more polish (and a better fashion sense) than you might expect arrives in Charming determined to take down SAMCRO. 'Seinfeld' Cast Pictured Reuniting Since 1998 Finale

More than a decade after saying goodbye to fans of the show, the cast of " Seinfeld " got together for the promotional picture of " Curb Your Enthusiasm ". Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Richards and Jason Alexander together with "Curb" star Larry David are all standing near the familiar door. As previously reported, the four main characters of "Seinfeld" are reuniting for an episode of the HBO series. They appear in the third episode which airs on October 4. Larry's manager tries to convince him to organize a reunion but true to his nature, Larry rejects. Only after realizing that he can win back Cheryl's heart by arranging the reunion does Larry agree to do it. The cast of "Seinfeld" also appeared on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. In the inside story, Jerry expressed his glee in working with Larry, saying "The idea of working with Larry was just too overwhelmingly appealing to me, and ['Curb'] is such a great show. There was a little part of me that said, 'Do we really want to tamper?' ...But to hell with it. How much damage can you really do?" On the other side, Jason spilled an on-set story. He said, "Just before we shot that scene, I said to Jerry and Julia, 'I don't know if I can be George. I haven't tried him on for awhile'. And it was freaky how it just came right back out." 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Star Details Crazy Sex Life in Memoir

"My past is littered with unbelievably inappropriate partners," writes Curb Your Enthusiasm star Susie Essman, who plays Jeff Garlin's wife, Susie on the HBO series, set to return for its 7th season on September 20. "I've been through some real humdingers over the years, or should I say hum-dingdingding-ers ... I stayed with men when the bells were ringing so loudly Marlee Matlin could have heard them." Essman chronicles her outrageous sex life and long list of crazy partners on her memoir called What Would Susie Say: Bullsh*t Wisdom About Love, Life and Comedy, set to hit shelves in October. The Curb Your Enthusiasm star enumerates her various partners, including someone who insisted on wearing a lobster bib when having oral sex and someone who made her applaud every time he went to the bath room. "I remember a guy I once dated who would say things like, 'Bob really likes Susie. Bob wants Susie to get naked,'" she writes, adding that the crazy bunch also includes an oddball who revealed to her that his inner child was Dame Judi Dench and a guy who told her that his pet name for his penis was Klaus Barbie, Butcher of Lyon. "The worst, though, was this one guy who barked every time we did it doggie style. That's a little excessive don't you think? A woof woof every now and then can be fun, almost kinky, but aggressive metered barking every time?" Source Here
