Will Callie's hookup with Mark on last week's episode of Grey's Anatomy come back to haunt her when Arizona returns, or will it be more like a minor bump in the road? "Callie and Arizona will be back together soon," says human spoiler alert Shonda Rhimes. According to the Grey's Anatomy creator, Arizona will soon show up on Callie's doorstep, and "[The breakup] was a way to jump-start the next phase of their storyline." To Read More Click Here.
"Grey's Anatomy" is to be turned into a musical for a one-off episode which will test the cast's singing skills. The medical drama, which stars Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey, will follow in the footsteps of hit teen series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", which produced a popular all-singing-all-dancing installment in 2001. Executive producer Shonda Rhimes is adamant the musical episode will be done tastefully, and insists fans will be surprised by some of the stars' talent. She tells TVGuide.com, "Nobody is going to be dancing and singing down the halls; that's not our show. Our show is known for its music. I very much wanted to do something that was musical without being a musical." To Read More Click Here.
Grey's Anatomy is doing a musical episode. The ABC medical drama is planning the event for later this season, but don't expect the doctors of Seattle Grace to just burst into song and start dancing down the hospital halls, executive producer Shonda Rhimes tells us. Rhimes says the Grey's musical episode will be very different from other shows that have attempted the stunt in the past. She specifically references Buffy the Vampire Slayer's musical episode, which she says is one of her favorites. "[Ours] is sort of the opposite of that in a weird way," Rhimes says. "They did an all-out, show-stopping, Broadway kind of musical. This is very different." So what is in store? Read on for all the details. To Read More Click Here.
Derek and Meredith are doing intervention before Cristina and Owen's condition gets worse. Next week on "Grey's Anatomy", despite Meredith's objections to the idea, a concerned Derek takes Cristina on a fishing trip in order to get away from it all. Meredith chooses to confront Owen of not having a plan. Meanwhile, Teddy, feeling directionless without Cristina, directs all of her efforts and compassion towards a dying patient (played by Scott Foley) who lacks the proper insurance to seek medical treatment. According to TV Guide, Foley's character is broke and about to pop the question to his girlfriend. After multiple surgeries, he's financially strapped, prompting Teddy to take the case pro bono. Jesse Williams and Kim Raver answered questions submitted by TV Squad readers for our Outside the Box interview show. The 'Grey's Anatomy' co-stars sat down to talk about which real-life medical cases they'd like to bring to the show, other characters they'd like to play and how they dealt with last season's dramatic finale. Raver and Williams gave us a little unexpected comedy when asked about their most awkward acting experiences. Williams had to stand naked in front of cast and crew while filming the movie 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,' while Kim had to do a love scene six months pregnant. Must have been really uncomfortable for the actor she was reading with... oh wait, that was Williams! Source & Video

In a huge surprise last season, Sarah Drew's character, Dr. April Kepner was hired as a series regular after doing just a two-episode guest spot (during which, you may remember, Dr. Kepner got fired). How did she manage it? The veritable queen of guest starring actually did an episode of Private Practice as well as a pilot for Shonda Rhimes before she snagged the series regular job. The guest spot on Private Practice was the first time Drew worked with Shonda, but we're glad to see that she's settled. Drew, of course, has made appearances on a variety of hugely popular shows, including Mad Men, Miami Medical, and Glee, not to mention was a series regular on shows such as Everwood, and even the animated series Daria as the voice of Stacy Rowe. (Gosh, we miss you, Daria.) To Read More Click Here.
