Given what transpired in Grey’s Anatomy 's Season 13 finale this should not come as a complete shock, but we’re hearing Dr. Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) is once again single and ready to mingle. Marika Dominczyk, who joined the venerable ABC drama last November in the recurring role of Eliza Minnick, Grey Sloan consultant-turned-love interest for Arizona, will not be returning for Season 14, TVLine has learned exclusively. The character’s exit was foreshadowed in May’s finale when Eliza was abruptly fired by Bailey. Bridget Regan took to Twitter to express love to her fans and celebrate the casting of Timeless star Abigail Spencer as her replacement on Greys Anatomy . ‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Abigail Spencer Set To Recur In Recasting - Deadline

Timeless star Abigail Spencer is set for a multi-episode arc in the upcoming 14th season of ABC’s hit medical drama Grey’s Anatomy . Spencer will play Megan Hunt, Owen’s sister, in a recasting. She replaces Bridget Regan who could not return to the series due to scheduling conflicts. Regan is a series regular in TNT’s The Last Ship which received a two-season pickup through Season 5. Grey's Vet Krista Vernoff Returns for Season 14 as Co-Showrunner -

One of Grey’s Anatomy ‘s most celebrated behind-the-scenes MVPs is checking back in. TVLine has confirmed that Krista Vernoff — who served as head writer and exec producer during the ABC medical drama’s first seven seasons, earning multiple Emmy nominations in the process — is returning for the series’ upcoming 14th season. Vernoff joins the showrunning team of Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers as part of a new overall deal with ABC Studios.
