Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus fans are used to getting the best of both worlds, as the theme song goes, after watching the 17-year-old songstress juggle her TV and music career for four years. But soon viewers will be singing a very different tune as the show prepares to premiere its fourth, and final, season. Hannah Montana Forever, premiering on Sunday, July 11 at 8/7c, follows student-by-day, pop-star-by-night Miley Stewart as she and her dad and brother relocate from their Malibu beach house to their new ranch. In addition to the Stewart's family new digs, the upcoming season will welcome new guest stars including Sheryl Crow, Jay Leno, Kelly Ripa, Ray Liotta and Christine Taylor. However, the biggest change in the series' final episodes will be Miley's graduation from high school, and her struggle to figure out her next move. "[It's about] her graduating, and seeing what college is all about and seeing whether she wants to pursue her career or go to school and try to live a normal life," Cyrus told reporters at a news conference for the show's last episodes. "As the character has grown up, we've grown up. As we've moved on to new things, they're moving on to new things, and going to colleges," she says. "I think we've all graduated this year, as well, along with our characters. So I think it is a lot of art imitating life." To Read More Click Here .
"Ordinary Girl", a song recorded for "Hannah Montana" season 4 soundtrack, has been been unleashed in full. Performed by the lead actor Miley Cyrus, the track will not be up for digital download until July 6 but now can be found everywhere on the web. The track kicks off with ballad tune and then continues with more up-beat hook. "Sometimes I'm lazy, I get bored, I get scared / I feel ignored, I feel happy, I get silly / I choked on my own words, I make wishes," Miley sings that she is just an ordinary girl despite being a superstar. In related news, there were reports swirling on the web, mentioning that Miley Cyrus would perform at 2010 World Cup closing ceremony next month. However, the rumor was put to an end by E! Moving ever further from her smile-and-sparkles Hannah Montana image, teenpopper Miley Cyrus is set to take on a role in the upcoming paranormal thriller Wake based on the young adult novel by Lisa McMann, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The first in a series of three novels, Wake follows a teenager who is unwittingly drawn into other people's dreams. (Some of which, we're guessing, might be less than pleasant.) It's not necessarily an obvious choice for the girl who became a pop princess by chirping sunshiny hooks in a bleach-blonde wig. But right now Miley's short movie resume has two wholesome hits (Hannah Montana: The Movie and The Last Song) and not much else. Maybe a thriller could be just the thing to keep her fans on their toes - and even bring in some new moviegoers who wouldn't be caught dead at a Hannah Montana pic? And besides, EW's on Lisa Schwarzbaum gave Cyrus props for her acting in Last Song. So who's to say the girl can't stretch her (black, vulture-like) wings a bit on screen? Source Here
One of the new songs from Miley Cyrus has got a preview which now can be found everywhere on the web. Titled "Ordinary Girl", it is not recorded for her upcoming studio album "Can't Be Tamed" but serves as one of the soundtracks for the upcoming fourth season of "Hannah Montana". The Miley Stewart depicter says in this song that she is just an ordinary girl despite being a superstar. "Sometimes I'm lazy, I get bored, I get scared / I feel ignored, I feel happy, I get silly / I choked on my own words, I make wishes," part of the lyrics read. The fourth and final season of "Hannah Montana" is to be premiered this summer. When the last filming was ended in May, Miley Cyrus and and the other cast, including Emily Osment, Jason Earles and Romi Dames, held a casino-themed wrap party to bid farewell to each other. At 17 years old, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has gotten a lot of criticism for her so-called raunchy antics of late. There's that "Can't Be Tamed" single, the provocative video that came with it, and the recent on-stage kiss that she claims didn't happen. However, the musician defended herself by saying that the problem's not with her; it's with Hollywood itself. On her recent appearance on "The Billy Bush Show," she told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush that there's a double standard going on that makes it harder for her to perform. Her steps towards maturity are being looked down upon because of it, and Miley Cyrus can't take that anymore. "Girls are immediately going to say, 'Oh, she's trying to sell sex,'" the Hannah Montana star explained. "Well, I love Zac Efron, but what's he selling? He's gorgeous, he's hot, I don't go see his movie because I'm like, 'He's such a fantastic actor.' He's a great actor, but he's hot." To Read More Click Here .
Still trying to shed that Hannah Montana image and don a sexier one, Miley Cyrus has been making headlines recently for kissing a girl onstage. Or just pretended to, as she keeps claiming. The UK's Daily Mail reported that the 17-year-old singer blew audiences away with her "Can't Be Tamed" performance on the show Britain's Got Talent. It wasn't just the music; it was because she practically imitated the legendary liplock between Britney Spears and Madonna in the past. Miley Cyrus apparently took hold of a female dancer and supposedly "thrust her lips towards each other." Critics and fans have looked down upon the act, especially since it was done on such a family-oriented show. But the Hannah Montana star defended herself and wrote on her blog: To Read More Click Here .
Miley Cyrus flew to Paris to continue the promotional effort for her new album "Can't Be Tamed" in Europe. She performed at the 1515 Club in France as a follow-up to her Madrid appearances earlier this week. When taking the stage on Tuesday, June 1, the "Hannah Montana" star opted to wear revealing outfit. She rocked black shorts and a cropped top with matching color, entertaining clubgoers with songs from her June 22 release and tracks from previous efforts. After wrapping her gig in France, Miley Cyrus jetted off to U.K. for another concert. She wrote on her blog, "So sad to leave Paris already! I didn't even get to be here 24 hours! I swear I have some of the best fans in the world right here in Paris! Out of all the cities I've been to I think this crowd has been the loudest and has had the most energy! London has some competition! See ya guys in a few hours! So excited for England!" Source & More Photos
During the recent Rock in Rio concert in Lisbon, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus had a confession to make. After performing the song "Full Circle," she revealed that it was about a certain someone in her past. As many fans expected, she was referring to Nick Jonas. According to Just Jared, the 17-year-old musician announced a brief introduction about the song last Saturday in Portugal. Miley Cyrus began, "It's about two people. They're always gonna come back together no matter what anyone says or the bad people that try to keep you apart." To Read More Click Here .
