Possibly and probably my favorite show of all time. Can't get enough of those meat analogies.

Update: Taking the third season slow so far since it's truly riling me up quite a bit. Has anyone else noticed how much of the back of Frank's head we're seeing?

It pains me to write this, but I can't get into this show! I know many people are obsessed, but much like Homeland, the overly-hyped-ness (new word) kills it for me. Maybe I'll give it another go in a couple years.

Brilliant! dramatic! I've never really watched a series about politics as I always thought I wouldn't enjoy but this is just outstanding. Kevin Spacey, you absolute legend.

Love it. Best political drama on television. Great performances by the cast all round.

One of the best politics-related shows currently running. It caught my attention since the first episode. If you enjoy the topic, you should really watch it ASAP.

The host on the radio network I listen to won't shut up about this show, constantly weaving it into reviews wherever possible (George Hook - Ireland) so I finally relented and said I'd give it a go. WoW! not at all what I was expecting the West Wing with a kick ass attitude. Writing is impeccable, acting superb and every now and then gives you a 'holy ****' moment. Don't want to give away a second of plot as its too good to ruin for everyone! One of (if not) the smartest tv shows on at the moment. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW

There are few television shows that peak my interest for their sophistication and elegance; this is one of them. Watching a chapter of House of Cards is like opening an old novel and breathing in the aroma it exudes. I find Congressman Underwood to be a simply delightful, more Machiavellian hybrid of David Bonior and Will McLean (of The Lords of Discipline).

A dark, gritty nd extremely nerve-wrecking show...in short, its as ultimate as a drama can get
Season 1 nd the 2nd half of Season 2 were just so compelling. Damn, that season 4 finale was really something. Frank's in real trouble now..

ETA: No Spoilers. Watched Season 4. At last, HOC has embraced the fact that they do not exist in the real political world. Total soap opera. I've never loathed character's so much yet been so annoyed at a season ending and having to say goodbye to them for another year. That says a lot about Penn and Spacey, they're excellent, everyone is great, it's wonderful to see Neve Campbell in a good role. But, as far as the plot (what plot, jut throw everything and the kitchen sink in there!?!) goes, it's just all a bit, meh. For next season, I think I'll take up knitting to save me from fidgeting every time I watch an episode. At least knitting will give me something to concentrate on. My delighted review below was b4 I watched season 4. Knocking 2 stars off the review.

LOVE HOC. Kevin Spacey's delivery is deliciously evil... I thought last season was a bit hit and miss so let's all hope the showrunners have brought together a whole load of surprises for us. Binge watching or keeping myself to just one ep per day, decisions, decisions... :)
