For the first couple was New South Wales siblings Steve and Helen, who were 1st generation Aussies from a Greek Cypriot heritage. Steve’s an electrician but his passion was running the soccer canteen on weekends. Their passion came from their mum and as she passed away when Helen was only 16 – she had to learn to cook. They set up their Greek restaurant, “Glendi” (Greek for joy), with Greek columns, statues, Mediterranean paintings. The sibling impressed with Entree and Dessert, but served an average Main. They scored a total of 75 putting them on top of the leaderboard being the first team for the instant restaurant.
