After heading towards the entrance to the Underworld, Nora tells Yato that they must search and rescue a certain conjurer as their last job together. A colloquy discussed at Takamagahara suspects the conjurer being Ebisu, possibly naming and controlling Phantoms. In the Underworld, Yato runs into Ebisu, whose goal is to see Izanami, the queen of the Underworld, to obtain a Locution Brush, a brush that will allow him to control Phantoms without suffering blight. They are suddenly captured by Izanami, who bargains she will give away the Locution Brush in exchange for one of them to stay and be her friend. Yato fights Ebisu, in which Ebisu wins after he converts Nora from a sword into a gun.
