'Parks and Recreation': Leslie Knope is on PCP (but not like you think)

Leslie Knope has not been idle during her suspension from the Pawnee parks department.Thursday's (Dec. 8) "Parks and Recreation" deals with the aftermath of Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Ben (Adam Scott) revealing their romance, after which Ben resigned from his post and Leslie was suspended for two weeks. But as you can see in the first of two clips from the episode, she's still got park business on her mind.So much so, in fact, that she's formed PCP (the Parks Committee of Pawnee) and drawn up a list of demands that she presents to Chris (Rob Lowe) -- along with a very thoughtful Christmas present. Leslie's gift-giving skills are also the subject of the second clip, as the parks staff runs down the list of incredible presents she got for them this year. Be warned, though: You will see Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) get choked up to the point that he's on the verge of... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/12/parks-and-recreation-leslie-knope-is-on-pcp-but-not-like-you-think.html

'The Trial of Leslie Knope' Rocks 'Parks & Recreation' (VIDEO)

We've been watching for weeks now as the relationship between Leslie and Ben has been tearing her up on 'Parks & Recreation' (Thu., 8:30PM ET on NBC). As we were reminded this week, at one point the pair of them even bribed a government official to keep their relationship a secret. It was a gift card and a kiss, but the point remains. These are things that go against everything Leslie Knope believes in, so finally she and Ben -- who'd decided to be together regardless of the rules -- told Chris about their relationship and how long it had been going on. http://www.aoltv.com/2011/12/02/the-trial-of-leslie-knope-rocks-parks-and-recreation-video/

'Parks and Recreation' brings back Louis C.K., makes a 'Free Agent' pickup

The obstacles to love for Ben and Leslie on "Parks and Recreation" will keep coming this season -- including one that looks a lot like Louis C.K.The comedian and star of FX's "Louie" is set to reprise his role as Dave, the cop Leslie (Amy Poehler) dated for a while in Season 2, TVLine reports. Dave's arc on the show ended when he took a job in San Diego and Leslie decided to stay, but he'll return to Pawnee in an episode slated to air early next year. We're sure Ben (Adam Scott) will take the news of one of Leslie's exes being back in town in the same calm, not-at-all uncomfortable manner he's handled the other bits of bad news we've seen him get.Meanwhile, TVLine also reports -- and "Parks and Rec" showrunner Mike Schur confirms -- that Kathryn Hahn, late of NBC's short-lived "Free Agents," has also come aboard the show. She'll appear... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/11/parks-and-recreation-brings-back-louis-ck-makes-a-free-agent-pickup.html

Kathryn Hahn to Oppose Leslie on Parks and Recreation

It looks like Ben and Leslie's newly-rekindled romance won't affect the latter's political dreams after all. TV Line reports that Kathryn Hahn - most recently seen (below) on NBC's very short-lived Free Agents - will appear on multiple episodes of Parks and Recreation in early 2012 as an operative working against Leslie and her campaign for City Council. Hahn's character will debut in January and work for an opposing candidate. Played by whom?!? That much is uncertain. But we can only imagine the hilarious possibilities of this race... http://www.tvfanatic.com/2011/11/kathryn-hahn-to-oppose-leslie-on-parks-and-recreation/

Leslie Throws Caution to the Wind, Chooses Ben on 'Parks & Recreation' (VIDEO)

If Ron isn't careful, he's going to get all soft and mushy. He was fully invested in Andy's search for a college class to take, like a parent would be. Of course, Ron caring about the people he works with, despite his crusty exterior, is part of what makes his character work so well on 'Parks & Recreation' (Thu., 8:30PM ET on NBC). Leslie, on the other hand, has been struggling with how much she cares about Ben, going so far as to make terrible professional decisions week after week rather than deal with the situation head on. Until this week, that is. http://www.aoltv.com/2011/11/18/leslie-caution-to-the-wind-chooses-ben-parks-and-rec-video/

'Parks and Recreation's' Nick Offerman on Mustaches and Being Tackled by Robin Givens (Q&A)

The Hollywood Reporter:  You're best known for  Parks and Rec , but you've been a busy working actor for more than 14 years. What was your career like before the show? Nick Offerman:  I'd been making a really nice living for about 10 years here in L.A. I always felt successful just doing that. I've been working steadily as an actor since around 1998. I wasn't well known in the public, but I was a dependable working journeyman. I was working more than all the people I knew from college and my Chicago theater community, so I didn't notice that I wasn't "successful" enough. When I got my job on Parks, it was so dreamy, kind of unfathomable. I didn't think a job that excellent could exist for me.
