'Parks and Recreation's' Nick Offerman on 'pushing the envelope' with wife Megan Mullally

One of the more memorable guest stars in "Parks and Recreation" history returns in Thursday's (Feb. 10) episode. Megan Mullally makes her second appearance as Ron's (Nick Offerman) ex-wife, Tammy, and craziness ensues."They tell me it's quite something," Offerman told Zap2it when we visited the "Parks" set in December. "I honestly don't remember much of what took place during the filming of that episode [which was shot last spring], because it was like a crazy peyote fever dream. I remember there was lots of howling, and I came away very sore and scarred. Parts of my anatomy were alarmingly chafed. They say it turned out well. I'm excited to see it."We're not entirely sure to what degree Offerman is joking there, but "crazy peyote fever dream" is not a bad way to describe the episode, "Ron & Tammy: Part Two." At least he had his wife by his side: He and Mullally have been married... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/02/parks-and-recreations-nick-offerman-on-pushing-the-envelope-with-wife-megan-mullally.html

'Parks and Recreation': Deleted scenes with more of Coach Ron Swanson

What's better than Ron Swanson, youth basketball coach, on "Parks and Recreation"? More of Ron Swanson, youth basketball coach, on "Parks and Recreation."The two deleted scenes from last week's season premiere show Ron (Nick Offerman) channeling his inner Bobby Knight as he molds the young men of Pawnee. Offerman also tells Zap2it that while the red sweater and chair-throwing may be all Knight, Coach Swanson is also based in part on his own father."My dad was a junior high basketball coach through a lot of my youth, and it was a really fun gig for an 8-year-old to be the towel boy," Offerman says. "There's nothing more fascinating than a rack of 24 basketballs -- that's a high-dollar item when you're 8. So I patterned a lot of Coach Swanson after my dad's coaching technique." The first clip includes the Swansonian pearl of wisdom, "Zero passes is selfish. One pass is American. My Pawnee Valentine: The Cast of Parks and Recreation Explains Who's Hooking Up and Why

When we last left Pawnee — a ridiculously long eight months ago — Parks and Recreation 's romantic entanglements were only beginning to get, well, really tangled. Visiting auditors Ben (Adam Scott)  and Chris (Rob Lowe) took a shine to Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Ann (Rashida Jones), but Leslie kind of hated Chris' cynical attitude toward government, and Ann kind of hated that she got drunk and hooked up with Chris. Then there's April (Aubrey Plaza), who really hated Andy (Chris Pratt)  for letting Ann... http://www.tvguide.com/News/Parks-Recreation-Cast-1028111.aspx?rss=breakingnews
