Columbus Short Confirms Scandal Exit! Harrison Wright Not Returning for Season 4

One of Olivia Pope's Gladiators is officially hanging up his white hat. Columbus Short recently released a statement confirming that he will not be returning for the ABC drama's upcoming fourth season. A Scandal star confirms his exit from the hit ABC series. Columbus Short, who plays one of Olivia Pope's hard-working "Gladiators" Harrison Wright, confirmed in a statement that his option was not picked up and he will not be returning for the upcoming fourth season. "I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry, and the rest of the cast, who have become like a second family to me in such a short amount of time," the statement reads. The news hardly comes as a surprise to fans of the show, as Short was in the midst of his own real-life scandal, having recently been accused of threatening to kill his wife.
