To win the DWMA's trust, Medusa reveals the location of the real "Brew", and proposes to give information about Asura's whereabouts in exchange for her freedom and protection of her peers. When Arachne moves on with her plan to spread Asura's throughout the world, Lord Death decides to accept the deal. Medusa walking free shocks all the DWMA students. Marie later discovers that Stein is nowhere to be found.
