With Apollo gone and Steve recovering from his near death experience, Suzy and Henry attempt to return to a reasonably normal life. However, this desire for peace and quiet is soon lost when a new cab appears outside the Elysian. Suzy becomes convinced that she is going to die and Henry deals with the guilt of imposing himself on the Darling family's life. Henry makes a decision and the state of his existence and relationship with Suzy is given up to fate.
