Thank You is a heartwarming tearjerker that will have every viewer sobbing helplessly. "Thank You" is a fairytale for adults. Lee Young-shin (Gong Hyo-jin) lives with her senile grandfather and her young daughter Bom (Seo Shin-ae). When Bom was younger, she got into an accident and had to get a blood transfusion. By the mistake of the doctor in charge, Bom was given blood infected with the HIV virus. Now Bom is in elementary school and has AIDs. As Young-shin struggles to come to terms with the fact that her daughter is dying, Bom goes through her own troubles as everyone finds out and treats her like she has the plague. Meanwhile, they decide to take in a boarder, Min Ki-seo (Jang Hyuk), who is a bit rude and frigid. However, he's hiding a secret, which is the real reason he came to Young-shin's house. His late girlfriend was the doctor who gave Bom the wrong blood, and she had asked him to go apologize in her stead before she passed away. As Gi-seo grows more attached to Young-shin and her daughter, the three must rediscover the beauty of life, and what it means to live and to die.
