'The Bachelor': Courtney Robertson - biggest villain ever? How does she stack up?

Ben Flajnik's season of "The Bachelor" just wrapped its airing with Ben choosing Courtney Robertson, the girl everyone loved to hate. She was, at times, arrogant, rude, self-centered, a braggart and extremely manipulative - definitely a polarizing figure, which was only added to by the fact that she won. But how does she stack up against other "Bachelor" franchise "villains"? There's Michelle Money, who was the Courtney of her season - though now having seen how Courtney behaved, Michelle's antics look positively quaint. Also, she really redeemed herself on "Bachelor Pad" last summer. There's Rozlyn Papa, the woman booted off the show for allegedly having an affair with one of the producers. That's pretty dastardly, though it was also a huge case of he said/she said in terms of what actually happened. There's Jason Mesnick, who dumped Melissa on live TV and then asked Molly to take him back. That was pretty bad, but has the outrage... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/03/the-bachelor-courtney-robertson---biggest-villain-ever-how-does-she-stack-up.html

'The Bachelor's' Lindzi Cox 'very interested' in 'Bachelor Pad'

Lindzi Cox was the rejected bachelorette when Ben Flajnik's "Bachelor" season came to a close Monday night (March 12) on ABC. She would normally be in prime position to be the next "Bachelorette," which she says she "definitely would've been interested in," but Emily Maynard was already chosen. But can we look forward to seeing Lindzi on "Bachelor Pad" this summer?"I don't knoooow!" Lindzi teases to Zap2it. "Hopefully. I would be very interested in doing it."She also says that even though she was pretty shocked to watch the show back and see how Courtney was all the time (like in one-on-one interviews), she reiterates (numerous times during the press call) that she wishes Ben and Courtney "nothing but the best."Lindzi also says there are so many girls that she's "really looking forward to being friends with" now that the show is over and what is something she learned while on the show?"I learned that men... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/03/the-bachelors-lindzi-cox-very-interested-in-bachelor-pad.html

The Bachelor Finale: Courtney Wins, World Shrugs

L.A.-based model Courtney Robertson captured the final rose and got engaged to Ben Flajnik on ABC's The Bachelor last night, to the surprise of virtually no one and the dismay of pretty much everyone.  Despite the controversy she has generated all season long (perhaps the most of any contestant in the show's 16 seasons), the finale was such a foregone conclusion, the shock value was relatively minimal. The Bachelor season finale has never been less in doubt, and the After the Final Rose special never more eagerly anticipated. Speculation ran rampant not over who Ben would pick, but what happened since. After all, Ben has been watching her act insane along with the rest of us... http://www.tvfanatic.com/2012/03/the-bachelor-finale-courtney-wins-world-shrugs/

TV ratings: 'Bachelor' finale woos viewers; 'The Voice,' 'Smash' down

Fast National ratings for Monday, March 12, 2012"The Bachelor" Ben Flajnik got the girl (sort of) Monday night, and the ratings followed for ABC. It took three hours of programming -- two for the finale and one for "After the Final Rose" -- but the reality show won out in the 10 o'clock hour, giving strong showing at 8 and 9 p.m. against NBC's "The Voice," which earned NBC the top spot of the night but was down over last week. Fans of "Smash" may be singing a sad tune because the show was down to 7.1 million viewers over last week's 7.9 million.NBC won out for the night in total viewers with 11.9 million viewers and a 7.1 rating/11 share in households. ABC was second (9.3 million, 6.3/10), CBS third (7.1 million, 4.6/7), FOX fourth (4.3 million, 2.8/4) and The CW (700,000, 0.5/1).The adults 18-49 win also went to NBC, with a 4.2 rating,... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/03/tv-ratings-bachelor-finale-woos-viewers-the-voice-smash-down.html

'Bachelor' Ben Flajnik's alternate ending to the finale

video platform video management video solutions video player For "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Bachelor" Ben Flajnik filmed a spoof of the finale where he chooses Chris Harrison as his soulmate instead of either finalist Lindzi Cox or Courtney Robertson - hee! The extremely dorky handshake is delightful, but then - The men go on to ride a tandem bike, frolic on the beach, eat spaghetti "Lady and the Tramp"-style and have a romantic pillow fight - until Chris Harrison "realizes" and "reveals" he's married to a woman. Heh. OK, that was pretty funny. We think we would have much preferred Ben running off with Chris Harrison to Ben choosing Courtney, with that uber-fake proposal full of gushing platitudes - "You're my forever, I love you so much." Uh huh. What did you think, "Bachelor" fans?... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/03/bachelor-ben-flajniks-alternate-ending-to-the-finale.html

'The Bachelor's' Lindzi Cox: Courtney Robertson 'was naked a lot,' maybe that's why she won

The rejected girl from "The Bachelor" finale, Lindzi Cox (far right), was on "Good Morning America" Tuseday morning (March 13), where she speaks about her experience on the show and also explains her desperate-sounding parting words for Ben."At the end of the day, it was tough for a little bit," says Lindzi, of the rejection. "But he made a decision that's best for him and I respect that. I wish them nothing but the best.""Hindsight is a beautiful thing ... especially when you watch it on TV. I can see why he went with her ... they really did have a solid ... and she was naked a lot. Maybe if I skinny-dipped, I wouldn't be here with you," jokes Lindzi. (Jokes?)As for why she didn't appear on the After the Final Rose special, Lindzi says, "I'm in a good place. I don't need my closure. I think Ben has bigger things to worry about... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/03/the-bachelors-lindzi-cox-courtney-robertson-was-naked-a-lot-maybe-thats-why-she-won.html

The Bachelor Finale: And the Final Rose Goes To…

[WARNING: The following story reveals the winner of ABC's The Bachelor . Read at your own risk] . After traveling the world and narrowing down a pool of 25 women to just two, The Bachelor 's Ben Flajnik got down on one knee and popped the question. http://www.tvguide.com/News/Bachelor-Finale-Episode-1044698.aspx?rss=breakingnews

And 'The Bachelor' Winner Is ...

Considering Courtney Robertson has been the only person making " The Bachelor " worth watching in Season 16, it's only fitting that she took home the title of winner of this season after Ben Flajnik proposed, and she accepted. And after weeks of boring dates and Ben's hair flipping, the 29-year-old California winemaker chose Courtney over Lindzi Cox, the southern belle who was the other contestant in " The Bachelor's " final two. In the two-hour finale (which aired Mon., March 12 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC), Ben took Courtney on a helicopter ride above The Matterhorn in Switzerland, which he called one of the "top 10 coolest things I've ever done in my life." In a picturesque wintry scene, they made snow angels and went tobogganing before Ben confessed: "With Courtney, I'm completely and utterly myself. I'm so happy to be around her. She makes me feel like a kid ... I've always wanted to feel this comfortable around a woman." In the climactic final minutes, it appeared Ben might not propose when he hinted he didn't want to have his heart broken again. "But I promised myself that I wouldn't get down on one knee again unless I was certain it was forever,' he said. "And I want to tell you that you are my forever. You're my forever, and I have waited a really, really long time to tell you that I am in love with you, more than you'll ever know. And that this experience and journey has been worth it every step of the way." When he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, she said, "Yes, of course I will. I love you so much ... I will love you forever." Courtney, a model who shocked audiences and her fellow contestants alike with her penchant for nudity and incredibly high-pitched voice, won over Ben in the end, even though the other ladies of "The Bachelor" weren't fans of her inability to keep her clothes on or follow the rules. But in December 2011, rumors started popping up that Courtney was the winner , with Ben proposing to her in the end. And the two have already walked down the aisle ... kind of. On the Feb. 20 episode, Courtney and Ben had a mock wedding ceremony in her hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona. "This is the best way I can think of to show Ben how I feel about him," she said. "We're at this place where I've always wanted to get married and I've got a little wedding planned." In his vows, Ben told Courtney: "From the moment I saw you, you took my breath away. What I asked myself after our first date was, 'Was this too good to be true?' The answer to that I found in Belize is 'No' -- you're incredible." Later, despite the awkward date-turned-faux wedding, Ben said standing at the altar with Courtney "felt pretty natural." She added: "We are not Mr. and Mrs. Flajnik yet, but it feels pretty good to try it on for size." http://feeds.huffingtonpost.com/~r/HP/Entertainment/~3/-jtELy-Y-_4/the-bachelor-winner_n_1340482.html
