'Real Housewives of New York' Cast Shake-Up? Alex McCord Responds to New Report

It was reunion time for Bravo's 'The Real Housewives of New York' last Wednesday at Capital in NYC. As usual, it was full of tears, laughter and betrayal but nothing was as interesting as one 'Real Housewife' talking about the show in the past tense. "Cindy [Barshop] barely spoke at the taping," a cast member told PopEater' Rob Shuter, "And when she did talk about her time on the show it was in the past tense. She is definitely not coming back." Also buzzing around today is a new report by HollywoodLife that in addition to Cindy, original housewife Alex McCord will also not be around for a fifth season, but in an exclusive statement to PopEater , Alex rebuffs such claims.

Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop Not Leaving 'Real Housewives of NYC' Just Yet

Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop have not signed off " The Real Housewives of New York City ". The two were reported leaving the spin-off of " The Real Housewives of Orange County " next season, but Bravo says the story is not true. "No decisions have been made regarding next season," a representative for the network states in response to the news which was shared by "insiders very close to the show" to Hollywood Life. The rep adds, "Everything at this point is rumor."   Read More...

'Real Housewives of NYC': Ramona Dons Red Wig, Mocks Jill on Her Birthday (VIDEO)

Jill Zarin had a memorable birthday on 'The Real Housewives of New York City' (Thu., 10PM ET on Bravo), even if she wasn't particularly enthused about every aspect of it. In particular, she didn't seem thrilled when Ramona went into an impromptu impression of her. Ramona got her hands on a wig and asked if she looked like Jill. Then she started demanding bigger diamonds as if she were Jill. "Seriously Ramona?" Jill said later. "Come on." But before she could get too upset about it, LuAnn came down the stairs with this crazy headress on and started serenading her. Awkwardly, Ramona said that at first she thought LuAnn was a big drag queen. But it was a nice capper on the evening for Jill, who even shared a quick dance with LuAnn.

'Real Housewives' Sonja Morgan 'Blindsided' After Bankruptcy Episode

While  Sonja Morgan’s  bankruptcy filing went public last November, the reality star and her fans watched it all go down again on Thursday’s  The Real Housewives of New York . "Well this is a tough episode for me as it brings back all the emotion I went through when I filed my Chapter 11," Morgan writes  in her blog. She goes on to describe how her attorneys advised her to file bankruptcy as a result of a $7 million judgment against her by a movie producer for a film that was never made. Her attorneys said it would protect her assets. She now says she received bad advice from people she trusted and she’s working hard to rebuild her finances. Read More...

Andy Cohen's Guests Think 'The Real Housewives' Should Air on Cinemax (VIDEO)

Last night 'Watch What Happens: Live' (Thu., 11PM ET on BRAVO) host Andy Cohen and his guests dished on the latest escapades of 'The Real Housewives of New York.' Now, negligees, rose petals, nudity, massages and copious amounts of foam have all become staples of the reality TV romance-setting playbook. Last night 'Housewife' Ramona pulled out all the stops to set the mood for her possibly philandering husband Mario. Talking about the couple's "sexy time" Cohen asked Mary McDonald ('Million Dollar Decorators') if she thought Mario was hot. Echoing, no doubt, many viewers' sentiments, McDonald said, "I was grossed out. ... I don't really need to see this." Fellow guest Rocco DiSpirito concurred that 'Housewives' belonged on Cinemax, not Bravo, adding that, "It [was] like the soft-porn channel all of a sudden."

'The Real Housewives of New York City': LuAnn and Alex Butt Heads (VIDEO)

The Moroccan vacation is over and it's time for 'The Real Housewives of New York City' (Thu., 10PM ET on BRAVO) to return to normal life. If life for these ladies can ever be called "normal," that is ... This week LuAnn and Alex got into a fight in a restaurant about whether Alex was butting into LuAnn's affairs. Actually, it was more of a tense verbal sparring bout -- these two are far too socially conscious to start yelling or hair pulling in front of the hoi polloi . The countess said she'd anticipated "a pleasant meeting where we could have a nice little cappuccino," to which an incredulous Alex replied, "That shows your own delusion." Touché ! Apparently, Alex had wrecked LuAnn's "lovely moment" with the ladies at home in Morocco by stomping in wearing her "Herman Munster shoes" and just simply ruining the mood. Listen dear, don't diss the shoes: "They're Louis Vuitton!" Gasp . To which LuAnn counters: "Well, even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes." Me-ow .

Jill Zarin Tells Leah Remini She'd Make a Great 'Real Housewife' (VIDEO)

' The Real Housewives of New York City' is missing its most recognizable face this season without Bethenny Frankel. But that hasn't hurt the show, said Jill Zarin on Wednesday's 'The Talk' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS). Zarin said she was happy for Frankel and all of her post-show success, and then got into the details that make the show popular, the interpersonal friction between the different housewives. At the insistence of Leah Remini, Zarin addressed her troubles with fellow housewife Ramona Singer. "Have you sat her down, seriously, off camera and said, 'Ramona, come and watch the show and look how you look," said Remini. Zarin said she was having problems with Singer lying about small details, like whether Zarin owned the Ferrari she drove in season one. Remini was so passionate about the feud that Holly Robinson Peete asked Zarin if she thought Remini would make a good addition to the cast. Zarin said she would, and Remini seemed open to the idea, saying she loves the show.

'Real Housewives of New York City' Ratings Do Just Fine Without Bethenny

Maybe Bethenny Frankel wasn't as integral to the success of 'The Real Housewives of New York City' as we thought -- ratings for the Bravo show have actually increased since Bethenny Frankel left the show. "During filming and again just prior to our fourth season airing, many articles popped up stating that RHONY would flop after Bethenny's departure," a current cast member told Rob Shuter of AOL TV sister site PopEater. "Many of these seemed to be veiled leaks by B and her team, designed to hurt us and boost her own spin off. Unfortunately for them, those plans didn't pan out." Read More...

Jill Zarin Reports Back on the Real Housewives Moroccan Rumble

The Real Housewives of New York City 's Moroccan holiday continued to go south last night when the bad blood between Jill Zarin and Ramona Singer — which hit its boiling point at the end of last week's episode — threatened to splash all over the rest of the posse. And we weren't the only ones talking about it...
