Lindsey Haun, singer and the former lead vocalist of hard rock band 7th Fall, has just landed herself a new TV gig. She's set to join the cast of True Blood for at least three episodes this season and will appear as Sookie's cousin Hadley. At this point, there is no word yet on why cousin Hadley is being brought into the picture. But according to Haun, she's also filmed scenes with Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, and Evan Rachel Wood so her debut on the HBO vampire series must be quite intriguing. On her MySpace page Haun wrote: "First of all, True Blood! Sooooo... our guitar player, Sarah Carter, was on episode 2 of this season, season 2, with her other band Rocket!! The episode is called "Get This Party Started" and Rocket is the back up band for the Christian rock singer chick. it's pretty funny... and kinda wrong actually... in a good way. But wait there's more!!! I, Lindsey Haun, will be on the last 2 episodes of the season! well actually, technically, 3. We shot about 3 weeks ago and it was amazing! I LOVE Alan Ball and the directors i got to work with, Michael Cuesta and Daniel Minahan! The crew was so incredibly nice and professional and hard working. What a treat to be on that set! I can't tell you much because i don't want to give the story away but i can tell you that i play Hadley Hale, Sookie Stackhouse's (Anna Paquin) cousin. I got to work with Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, and drum roll please... Evan Rachel Wood. i can't tell you who she plays but i can tell you that she's awesome! They're all awesome! Anyway, i really want to work with all of them again so please watch the show and tell them that you want me on it more! lol!" Although her expertise lies in the music circuit, this isn't Haun's first acting debut. She has appeared in Desperate Rescue: The Cathy Mahone Story, in John Carpenter's remake of the 1960 film Village of the Damned and in 1997 she appeared in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Real Life," just to name a few. Stephen Moyer was spotted earlier on Wednesday afternoon "5th August" with his son Billy body surfing at Santa Monica Beach and on the say day British actor announced his engagement with Anna Paquin, on the same day Ann Paquin was also spotted at Kate Somerville skin shop in L.A shopping alone. It was nice to see that Stephen Moyer selected a vintage or vintage style diamond engagement ring for his fiance Anna Paquin. Of their on-set hook-up, Moyer said: "The reason it was dodged last year was very intentional on both our parts. "It was very important to me that the cast and crew we were working with didn't feel it was fickle, and didn't feel it could possibly potentially encroach on their lives, you know, just like, 'Oh the two stars are having a thing.' We didn't want to take anything away from the show." Paquin, on the other hand, was slightly more pragmatic about things. "It was the worst kept secret on the planet," she quipped when her romance was 'outed'. Paquin plays telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse in the series who is head-over-heels in luuurve with her bloodsucking boyfriend, Bill Compton (played by Moyer) - and their engagement will no doubt spice things up even further in the on-screen chemistry department. The duo are regularly seen indulging in "adult relations" and saucy shenanigans. Talk about hot to trot... I have never honestly thought this about him before, but Jason is so HOT 'n sexy in Timebomb!
There's nothing like a genuine surprise. While some things on TV this week took predictable turns - feuding cable hosts are feuding again, and a relationship born on The Bachelorette hit a bump - the two events at the top of our list caught us off-guard. One might even change the world. And no, it's not the dance contest. 8. Shortest Peace: Well, that was quick. Days after The New York Times reported a corporate-mandated end to the Bill O'Reilly-Keith Olbermann feud, Olbermann packs his "Worst Person in the World " segment with the author of the Times story, O'Reilly, and Rupert Murdoch, chairman of the company that owns Fox News. So we guess the feud is back on? 7. Best Assurance That Yes, the Feud is Back On: Though he continues to not mention Olbermann by name, O'Reilly proves he's more than happy to rip GE, NBC's owner. Aligning himself with environmentalists, O'Reilly accuses GE of polluting the Hudson River, and urges President Obama to distance himself from the company. Way to cover all your bases, sir. But couldn't you work in another dig at good old TVGuide.com? We thought it was hilarious when you called us "incredibly stupid" for writing this. 6. Worst Tan: Rescue Me 's Sean Garrity always gets abuse from his fellow firefighters, but never, until now, about the size (and orange color) of his, uh, hose. It turns out self-tanning lotion is to blame. We'll never look at baby carrots the same way again. 5. Best Defense: The Bachelorette 's Ed and Jillian appear on Good Morning America to dispute reports that Ed cheated on his new fiancee with two different women. The couple say they're being targeted because they're happy. "This is the last time I'm talking about this," Jillian says. We hope so. 4. Change of Heart Award: On True Blood , pious Sarah's post-coital glow quickly dims when she finds out her new lover's sister is Sookie. Abandoning plans to tell her husband about the affair, she finds Jason in the woods and shoots him in the chest. Is he dead? Good thing the show has a cure for that. 3. Best Comic Relief: It was nice to see the kids of Jon & Kate plus 8 enjoy a good laugh, even at their mom's expense. The focus of this week's episode was back on them, where it belongs, instead of on Kate whining about how tough it is to put up tents. 2. Dark Horse Award: Though she's been coming on strong, we were still a little shocked when Jeanine took the title of America's Favorite Dancer on So You Think You Can Dance . Not that she didn't deserve it - she upped the intensity week after week and made a statement by nailing her final solo performance. The best news is, with the show back in the fall, we don't have to wait very long for another round of move-busting. 1. Best Reunion: Euna Lee, one of two journalists released from a North Korean prison, embraces her husband and daughter upon her and Laura Ling's return to the United States. Former President Clinton's trip to North Korea to win their freedom, and their subsequent pardon, may have opened a new diplomatic channel between the countries and made the world a less-volatile place. But for now, it was good to see families reunited. Source Here
