Jefferson D'Arcy (Married With Children)

Known as the “Patron Saint of Shark-Jumping” for his work on Happy Days and The Love Boat, noted sitcom-killer Ted McGinley was brought in mid-series once again to work his magic. This time it was as the second husband to Marcy Rhoades, the feminist foil and neighbor to Al Bundy on Married With Children. Aside from bringing Marcy her new moniker Marcy D’arcy, Jefferson portrayed essentially the male version of Peggy Bundy: a financially scheming house husband and gigolo who married Marcy for her money when she was blackout drunk. Jefferson was on the show for 7 seasons, almost twice the amount of his predecessor, and became a fairly popular character despite the McGinley curse.
