Well into the success of That '70s Show, it seemed like an easy enough concept to use a winning formula and jump ahead a decade. Glenn Howerton (three years before the launch of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) played the lead, with Chyler Leigh (fresh off of Not Another Teen Movie) as his love interest, but the most daring choice was the use of a Killing Joke track for its theme song. Despite a wealth of era-appropriate cameos, the show only made it for 13 episodes.
