5 Reasons We Love Watching: Supernatural

A road-tripping-case-of-the-week series, Supernatural is a fun ride (haha) because of its ability to balance lighthearted humor with dark stories. Between the lead actors being so great and the ever-expanding lore that makes for good story arcs, it’s hard not to binge all eleven seasons (and apparently, soon-to-be even more) of this show.

Warning: I will not be including Dean, Sam, or Castiel in this list as the number one reason since it is already so obvious that they are the number one reason to watch this show.

5. The music in the show. You’ll never listen to rock and roll the same way ever again:

4. There are moments when you get overwhelmed with emotion:

3. Castiel’s inability to grasp human etiquette, norms, and sarcasm makes for great scenes:

2. After several seasons, the show has become very self aware:

1. OK, I lied. Dean, Sam, and Castiel have to be in the top spot. Their on-and-off-screen chemistry is hard to match:

Conversely, for the exact same reason that is why I don't like Supernatural. It's
so Hokey. Absolutely nothing is off-limits. It's basically like Scooby-doo. What corny monster will appear this week? How about .. GOD HIMSELF!!! *shakes head*.
No no no - no no no no. And Constantine is just the same.
This isn't to say I don't like shows that don't take themselves seriously. I loved the Librarians, Warehouse 13, Psych and Eureka but when doing a Supernatural show, I feel like there needs to be some sort of limit, restrictions on what you should and shouldn't include.

For example -- the Underworld movies are about Vampires and Werewolves. If they started including zombies and mummys and witches it would start to get ridiculous, and thats exactly how I see supernatural. All that being said, this is just my opinion. The show has been very long-lived and had had many wonderful guest actors. I believe its approaching the show-length of Smallville now. Pretty crazy. I remember when it first started... like 11 years ago or something. Monk was still on back then.

Love the show. How bad is it that from No1 GIF I can tell the original question and how they got to that point. Darn you You tube videos

only downside is that it begins to take over your life and your friends will begin to disappear
