Once Upon a Time Bosses Confirm Six Total Exits: 'We Fervently Believe It Won't Be the Last We See of Them' - TVLine.com

Capping a week in which Jennifer Morrison unexpectedly bid Once Upon a Time adieu and Rebecca Mader announced her own exit, the ABC series’ creators have stepped forth to confirm six total departures.

As hinted in recent weeks and now made official, the fantasy series will move forward in Season 7 with longtime cast members Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle and Colin O’Donoghue, in addition to new additions Andrew J. West (The Walking Dead) and Alison Fernandez (Jane the Virgin), both of whom debut in the opening frames of Sunday’s two-hour season finale.

Meaning, original cast members Ginny Goodwin, Josh Dallas and Jared Gilmore, plus Emilie de Ravin (who made her debut midway through Season 1), will not be returning as series regulars.

i can see what's going on with the story already. The NEW curse is going to freeze everyone other than the Saviours and send em all back to their original lands.. swan is gonna die cos she's not coming back at all. Gold is a saviour, also Aladdin was one "once upon a time" LMAO.. sry couldn't resist.. he'll get his powers back somehow, and it's gonna be a huge battle between the dark fairy and ALL the saviours. I think it's gonna suck big time though.. especially with snow, charming, swan, belle, going and the totally useless character, that is Henry, going also. I have another theory that this cirse has made it so the bad guys have won in their respective stories and the good guys all lost.. the curse has given all the bad guys their happy endings.

@sylar dean paginton, They already had a storyline where the villains got their happy endings, remember? I doubt they'd repeat that.

I can't believe this got renewed. For me, it started to lose power after the Frozen season. The story lines just twisted and turned, and people lost interest. Even though this part has ended, and mostly everyone got their happy ending, there are still some unanswered questions, which I doubt they'll address in the next 'version'. Honestly, I think they should have just let this be the end of it. I don't think I have enough energy to put into another season of this.

I'll give it a chance, seeing as my fave Regina is still there. I've always considered her to be just as much of a main character as Emma, with the show focusing heavily on her personal growth & redemption. I just hope the 'reset button' doesn't undo all her progress.
