I have never heard about Roots before (probably being European has something to do with that). This was such a powerful mini-series that made me cry, laugh, cheer and feel pity for all the people who were somehow affected by this historically. What is beyond me is how cruel and stupid we people are, and what will it take for us to understand that. Even if the show wasn't as good as it is, I would still give it a high grade just because of the topic.

We watched this in one breath. It's witty, fast and most important - short! The show has just enough episodes not to become repetative. Not a single character does something stupid or inconsistent. I doubt that I will watch the next season, but this one is 7,5/10!

I'm going out on a limb giving this a 5 star after watching just one episode, but I can't see it going bad. The Good Wife is one of the best shows I have ever watched, and The Good Fight seems like it will be a great continuation of the story. The cast is amazing, my feminist side is excited about the female leads and the fact I can watch it on HBO is yet another plus. More comments after I have finished the first season.

I don't buy it. There is no chemistry here, and the main actors aren't good enough to make this work. Too bad, I was seeing forwards to it.

Perfect amount of blood, intrigue and politics. SGI in the first season is really bad, but they are getting there. Definitely worth watching, not to mention the best intro song ever!

Best show on TV right now (or six seasons up to today to be correct).

I cannot with stupid people, especially kids and their parents. It might be a great show later on, but I stopped it after 15 minutes. There are so many, way better shows, that this one is not worth my time.

This show is better and better with each season. Love it!

It started strong to become a copy of Californication and end on a low soap opera level. Too bad, I really looked forward to the fresh jokes they started the show with.

Took me four episodes to get completely involved, but it was so worth it. Deeper into the show you get, more meaning everything starts to get. And the details, the camera, dialogs, not to mention the acting from two main rolls... There is a feeling to it, like watching a movie (hello Fincher!) but actually having the time to allow the story to unfold itself.
