Love movies and TV shows, especially good comedy and science fiction, but also drama, crime and some fantasy. Also a few documentaries and reality TV.

The two main characters are crazy, neurotic and hilarious. These are two women that are not afraid to just be funny. The show reminds me of a mixture of Workaholics and Flight Of The Conchords. If you like to laugh, then give this show a chance, watch it open-minded.

The Mick

This show is basically just Kaitlin Olsons character from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia in another setting. This time she has to take care of some horrible, spoiled brats. Nothing wrong with that formula, the first few episodes are definitively entertaining.

What a great pilot. This sets the scene for a very exciting series indeed. The pilot for Westworld was completely compelling , absorbing and just so intriguing in every way. The production value is the first thing that stuck out to me about this show. It is visually beautiful to watch in every scene. Then the acting is just so good. Anthony Hopkins is brilliant as always, but Evan Rachel Wood and Ed Harris are both just excellent as well. Then there is the disturbing morality and philosophy behind the premise , which is really thought-provoking. The androids experience emotion and you feel uncomfortable about the humans using them as toys for the rich. When the androids start to develop glitches in their programming and you get glimpses that they are questioning their reality, the show starts to get really compelling. And the whole thing is handled with subtlety. This show is going to be a big winner for HBO , and for us, the viewers. Bring it on!

BattleBots is awesome: flying shrapnel, fiery explosions, the clank of metal on metal. The battles are fun, many of the builders have entertaining personalities and gimmicks, and there are always some really cool moments in an episode for enthusiasts of robotics, engineering and motorized mayhem. let's just hope the robots don't take revenge some day :D

Horace and Pete

I have watched a lot of Louis CK's stand up comedy and it seemed to me that his amazing humour came from him extracting the absurdity of life and talking about it on stage in a way that was both very funny, honest, and engaging. Even though the episodes of Horace and Pete feel formatted more in the way of a play, to me it is still fantastic in the same way. Family and life can be infuriating because as we grow up, we see that the more we know about family/life/universe, the more we realize that we know nothing (that whole Socrates thing), but that doesn't mean we give up hope ... instead we can find it absurdly funny and laugh in the face of absurdity, and try and learn from it to move forward in a better way. Especially when there is a master funny man like Louis CK to extract amazing thought lines from the absurdity. In this way it is an honest reaction to the confusing nature of life instead of simply trying to create a sanitized narrative to our lives that might make us feel less fear, but doesn't really address the reality. Anyways, this is a really good show, I find the dialogue really great, the acting great, and the jokes great, and therefore I find it ... very great! Thanks Louis CK!

I love Black Sails! The casting is very good and the plot is mature and intriguing. Captain Vane (Zach McGowen) is such a baddass! The storyline mix of the Treasure Island prequel and true life historical pirates is extremely compelling. and between the excellent drama, great action (on land an on sea) and political intrigue you learn a lot about pirate culture and everyday life. The series is in its 3rd season now and it's still really good stuff. That season 2 finale! It is a TV genre that has never been successfully explored before and I hope they are in for a few more seasons.

This show gets everything right. Finally there is a show that does hacking, social engineering, cyberterrorism and online activism right. Rami Malek is fantastic in the lead role, and the other actors are great as well. But hacking is not the shows sole focus. It's filled with great suspense, drama, and a realistic and refreshing take on (anti-)capitalism, psychic illness, the growing alienation and frustration in society, corporate culture and other modern issues. I recommend this to any thinking person.

This show is simply one of the finest examples of animated storytelling there is. The story and characters are amazing, the animation is top notch, the humor is perfect, the action is breathtaking. I highly recommend this to anyone, kid or adult, who likes original stories and epic tales of courage and friendship.

Great show with tons of laughs, memorable characters, and many heartfelt moments. Sometimes the humor can be a smidge racist/homophobic, but other than that this show is a sitcom classic.

It put me in mind of the beginnings of the Scrubs series: Very fast pace, comic timing and witty.
Original characters and good acting as well, give this a try!
