Goren made this show for me. I suppose I like a bit of madness in my shows and he had his share of it. Helped the show transcend the ubiquitous procedural format of the show to a degree.
I'm not especially fond of procedurals anymore, but there is a fond place inside me for this show. Twenty seasons of cases left a lasting impression on a lot of people, and the format of the show helped cushion the blow as cast members inevitably came and went.
A bizarre show, and one I still go back to watch every few years. I realize my score is a lot higher than the average, but I found the concept of the Room and the Objects fascinating. Don't think it would work as series, but it was a very entertaining mini-series.
Funny enough to keep the show light, despite the premise. I thought it did a fairly good job, and while it ended too soon the last scene actually does work as series finale.
The writing and acting could have been better, but overall it was fun adventure show always a bit reminiscent of Indiana Jones.
A great show, though the ending was a bit sad. Makes me want a sequel series with the original cast brought in for cameos to resolve their storylines.
I quite liked this show. Well done fantasy, and the cast did a good job with the material they were given. Nice visuals too.
Neither the acting nor the writing were great, but for mindless entertainment it'll do.
Campy but good to begin with, but they got rid of my favorite character so I bailed. First season is okay.
I enjoyed the first two seasons of this show quite a bit. They did a remarkable job of translating a slasher flick to the small screen, and the cast did a far better job than I had expected. The only problem is that they abandoned the plotline of the first two seasons when doing the third, which fell flat for me.
