I'm not usually a very big fan of James Franco, but I thought this mini-series was very well done. I haven't read the book, so I'm not sure how well it follows that (or history for that matter), but I did enjoy this show. I expected it to end very differently, but thinking about it, the moral is a good one. It's an interesting premise too.
I am abandoning Supernatural after 11 seasons. It is time to move on. I love Jared, Jensen, Misha, Mark, and all of the others, but many episode plots seem recycled and it just isn't holding my interest anymore. Misha's new role is very interesting, but that isn't enough to make me stay. I will finish out this season before I call it quits. Maybe I will finish it when it finally ends.
I have so much to say about this show, so I'm sure I will forget something, but here it goes...
1.) If you have been told that this is in the same universe as "Warehouse 13" and "Eureka," don't expect this show to fit the mood of those other two shows. They share only one character (as far as I noticed) and it does not have the light-hearted feel the other two shows share. Once you accept that, this show becomes much better.
2.) Gary is wonderful. I love him. That is all. ♥
3.) You know how some endings are hard to get over? This ending will probably haunt me forever. What a horrible ending! I hate show cancellations :'(
This show was a huge disappointment for me. Very few characters from the original returned, and those who did weren't around very much. The impending threat to the world never seemed real to me, and I did not get attached to any of the characters. The only reason I watched was to see what happened to the characters I loved, and some of those questions were never answered (possibly because it was only one season). It was good I suppose, but it definitely could have been better.
I really enjoyed Chuck. It was fun and exciting, but like any good show, Chuck was made great by the relationships (familial and friendly and romantic). My only complaint is that I think the show sometimes tried too hard to be different (SPOILERS!) with Chuck gaining and losing the Intersect more times than I can count. And season 5 was sort of a hot mess with (SPOILERS!) at least 4 people having the Intersect downloaded and people losing their memories and all of the "last missions" and other general craziness. Despite all of this, Chuck is still one of the best shows I have ever seen and it made me want to see more with Zachary Levi.

This was one of Robin Williams' last shows, so it was a little difficult to watch at first. It reminded me how funny and wonderful he was, and it is such a loss that he is no longer with us. RIP Robin.
I "abandoned" this show because it stopped airing in the US. If it is released on Netflix, I will likely finish it.
"Wicked City" is creepy because it is based on a real serial killer, one who was insanely disturbed. The history lesson is interesting, but the acting is phenomenal.
I was hoping for a good Muppets reboot, but I really hate the mockumentary style of filming. It feels like they are just trying to get as much money as possible out of the Muppets franchise with no intent of maintaining what made the Muppets special.
I'm not much for comedies, but I watched this show for Geoff Stults (from "The Finder"). It was nice to watch a light-hearted military show for a change, but it wasn't as funny as it thought it was.
I watched Intelligence because of Josh Holloway (from "Lost"). I wasn't exactly disappointed, but it also wasn't as good as I think it could have been. Maybe it wasn't my favorite because it wasn't entirely believable, but I have watched several shows with unbelievable premises, so maybe it was the presentation. In any case, I'm glad I watched it, but I probably won't watch it again, and I definitely won't buy it.
